Terms and Conditions of "Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH"
The following terms and conditions are subject of each contract placed between the client and the enterprise “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH”. The terms and conditions can by simply applied or downloaded by all our clients.
1. Legal Form
„Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH“ is a registered enterprise under the number of the commercial register FN 194549 b at the Commercial Court Vienna. The owners are Mr. Rudolf Haider and Dr. Thomas Grill.
2. Adress
The address is as follows: Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH, Braeunerstrasse 8, 1010 Vienna/Austria.
3. Conclusion of the Contract
You have to order one of the offered watches or any other type of merchandise to conclude a contract between yourself and “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH”. Within 3 working days a written confirmation by the “Chronothek” containing the features of the watch such as name, description, price ecc. will finally conclude the contract. The confirmation will be sent via mail, fax or email.
4. Open offers on our website
Generally, the watches offered on our website are exclusive and unique timepieces. We do the utmost to update our website as quickly as possible. Due to a possible time span between ordering merchandise and updating the website an ordered timepiece can be sold in the meantime. Therefore we have to keep all our offers open. A conclusion of contract is placed only after the receipt of our confirmation of order.
5. Shipment
The fees for shipping, packaging and insurance must be paid by the recipient. The costs for shipping and packaging are as follows:
inside of Austria:
€ 20,- for a merchandise value of up to € 15.000,-
€ 50,- for a merchandise value of up to € 70.000,-
inside of the EU:
€ 30,- for a merchandise value of up to € 7.500,-
€ 65,- for a merchandise value of up to € 40.000,-
Shipping is insured, the insurance is calculated from the price of sale and amounts to 1% of the merchandise value.
Shipping to locations outside of the EU will be calculated separately by arrangement.
6. Payment
With our confirmation of order the billing is carried out too. Only after having received your payment on our bank account we are ready for shipment. We gladly accept Mastercard, Visa, Diners and American Express. Ordered merchandise remains under the property of “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH” unless full payment is made.
7. Sale or return
After receipt of merchandise all clients of “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH” have a full sale or return within a time span of 14 days. Sale or return replaces the right of withdrawal. Sale or return is executed only by returning the merchandise to “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH”. You are not obliged to mention any reason for the return. To keep the term you should return the merchandise in time to the following address “Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH, Braeunerstrasse 8, 1010 Wien”. Please note that you have to return the merchandise in the same way and condition as we carried out the shipment to your address before. Please keep in mind to cover the return by insurance sufficiently. The costs for return and coverage are for client’s account.
8. Liability for defects
We safeguard our watches free of defects within legal requirements, i.e. when you are able to use the item like it is either mentioned in the contract or within common use or when the item features a state that is customary in similar items or can be expected by the client respectively. Client’s claims for defects become time-barred one year after receipt of the watch. If a defect occurs, the client’s claim consists in repair of deficiencies at first. Due to the fact of used and therefore unique valuable watches, the client can not claim compensation delivery. If the repair of deficiencies fails or is refused by the seller, the client is entitled to claim abatement of the purchase price or withdrawal of the contract.
9. Disclaimer for External Websites
„Chronothek Uhrenhandels GmbH“ is not responsible for the contents of external websites even if they are linked to the own web presence.
Chronothek Vienna
